Ingredients
- 5 heaping tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp chopped sage
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 3 cups Wild Moon Organic Chicken or Beef Bone Broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- In a large pot, heat the butter over medium-low heat for about 4 minutes until it begins to brown.
- Add seasonings and sage and cook for one more minute.
- Add mushrooms and saute for about 5-6 minutes until they are tender and lightly browned.
- Stir in stock and water and bring to a simmer on medium heat, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve quickly before it cools!
